D-Groups

Where discipleship happens best

Developing intentional friendships for the purpose of encouragement, accountability, and mutual spiritual growth towards Jesus.

What is a D-Group?

Groups of 2-5 women only and men only meeting together regularly for accountability and encouragement.

Joining or Starting D-GRoup

  • Ask 1-2 friends if they'd like to join you. Agree on how often you would like to meet. Some groups meet weekly, or once or twice a month. Each group is different!
  • Print and use this D-Group Bookmark to help with accountability questions during your group's meeting time. DGroup questions bookmark
  • Once your group reaches 5 or so, split to form two groups and then continue inviting others. This process doesn't always happen quickly, but keep this in mind as your group grows.
  • Multiplication of discipleship groups is important!

  • Share Openly - Proverbs 28:13; James 5:16

3. How are you feeding others?

  • Serve Sacrificially - 1 Cor. 9:19
  • Live Missionally - Matthew 28:18-20

BOOKS

These books are included to help guide the disciple outside of the D-Group meeting time.

We want to shy away from D-Groups being a book club meeting.

2.  How to defend your faith.
